The costs are covered either by the pension insurance or the health insurance.

You can order the application for your cure by telephone from your health insurance company, the family doctor or pediatrician has to fill out one part and you have to fill out the other.

After the application and examination, you will usually receive a catalog with various clinics that could fit, if you want a different facility, simply inform your provider (health insurance fund or pension insurance). If you have a good reason, this is usually not a problem.

There are also facilities where you can take your pets with you, but these are still rare. This is also a reason to choose another facility if you do not know where to go with the animal and you have a facility that offers the intended recovery program.

Normally, a contribution of 5 euros per day has to be paid, but this may not always be the case depending on the status and combination of your cure. There are also opportunities for low-wage earners and others to be able to afford a cure without problems.
